- 2 cups long grain rice
- 3 1/2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon butter , or 2 teaspoons oil
Add rice, water, and butter to a large microwave-safe bowl.
Cook on high, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
Cook on 40% power, uncovered for 15 minutes.
Let sit 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork and serve.
