Ingredients

  • 2 cups long grain rice
  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon butter , or 2 teaspoons oil

Instructions

  • Add rice, water, and butter to a large microwave-safe bowl.
  • Cook on high, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
  • Cook on 40% power, uncovered for 15 minutes.
  • Let sit 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork and serve.
