Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar , packed
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt

Frosting

  • 1/3 cup Chocolate frosting , if desired

Instructions

  • Add butter to a cereal bowl and melt on half power for 45 seconds.
  • Using a fork, mix the melted butter, egg, vanilla, evaporated milk, and dark brown sugar until well combined.
  • Add in the flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
  • Microwave for 2 minutes on high power.
  • Spread chocolate frosting evenly over cake.
