- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar , packed
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
Frosting
- 1/3 cup Chocolate frosting , if desired
Add butter to a cereal bowl and melt on half power for 45 seconds.
Using a fork, mix the melted butter, egg, vanilla, evaporated milk, and dark brown sugar until well combined.
Add in the flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
Microwave for 2 minutes on high power.
Spread chocolate frosting evenly over cake.
