Microwave Corn Dogs
Microwave Corn Dogs are delicious, and just as crisp and even more gourmet as any restaurant style dog you can get.
Servings: 1 Serving
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg white
- 4 teaspoons oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 hot dog , sliced
Combine flour, cornmeal, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg white until foamy and then add the milk, oil, and honey.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir until just combined.
Use the cooking spray to grease a microwave-safe bowl and pour cornbread mixture into it.
Top with hot dog slices.
Microwave for 1-2 minutes, depending on how you like your cornbread to be textured.
