MICROWAVE CHOCOLATE SAUCE

Did you know that Chocolate Sauce is actually a movie star? I mean, it’s pretty humble, but Chocolate Sauce has starred in many black and white movies, including such classics as Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho and the unforgettable monster film The Wasp Woman. Chocolate Syrup starred as the fake blood in those films and many more, mostly because it looked great on film and also tasted good enough for actors not to mind being covered in it. Chocolate Sauce was also marketed as a cure for colic in children in the 1890s, which was probably the only good thing about having colic. Basically what we’re trying to say here is that Chocolate Sauce is the celebrity of delicious dessert toppings.

MICROWAVE TABLE

  • 1,000 watts or higher: Higher wattage, lower cook time. Our microwave is about 1,250 watts, but if you have one with about 1,000 watts you will want to microwave the sauce for 1:50, then again for 2:25 minutes.
  • 700 watts: Microwaves under about 900 don’t heat things evenly or consistently, so don’t go anywhere while you’re cooking. Cook the sauce for 2:35 minutes, then again for 3:25 minutes.
