HOW TO MAKE MICROWAVE CHOCOLATE SAUCE
- Add chocolate chips and evaporated milk to a cereal bowl.
- Microwave, covered with a wet paper towel, for 90 seconds.
- Let sit, do not remove the paper towel, for 2 minutes.
- Stir for 1 minute until glossy and smooth.
WHAT TO SERVE WITH CHOCOLATE SAUCE
Chocolate Sauce is pretty much the MVP of desserts. You can put it on just about anything to make it even more delicious, such as ice cream, cake, sweet pies, and cookies. You can also add it to hot or cold milk to make chocolate milk or hot chocolate. - 1,000 watts or higher: Higher wattage, lower cook time. Our microwave is about 1,250 watts, but if you have one with about 1,000 watts you will want to microwave the sauce for 1:50, then again for 2:25 minutes.
- 700 watts: Microwaves under about 900 don’t heat things evenly or consistently, so don’t go anywhere while you’re cooking. Cook the sauce for 2:35 minutes, then again for 3:25 minutes.
