SERVE WITH
You know what we’re going to say, right? Ice cream! Ice cream is amazing with cake, and Caramel Cake in particular. Some of the most delicious flavors to try with it are chocolate, vanilla, coffee, or caramel chip.
SAVE SOME FOR LATER
Caramel Cake will stay good in the fridge for up to about a week as long as you keep it securely wrapped or in a sealable container. The quickest way to ruin a cake (and your whole day) is to let moisture get it. Soggy cake = sadness.
COST FACTOR
$: You need a fairly long list of ingredients, but they are all very reasonable when it comes to price. Plus, you can always buy the dry ingredients in bulk and save them for later recipes, just be sure to properly store them in a dry, cool place.
MICROWAVE TABLE
- 1,000 watts or higher: Higher wattage, lower cook time. Our microwave is about 1,250 watts, but if you have one with about 1,000 watts you will want to start by melting the butter for :55. Then cook everything together for 2:25 minutes.
- 700 watts: Microwaves under about 900 don’t heat things evenly or consistently, so don’t go anywhere while you’re cooking. Melt the butter for 1:17, then cook everything for 3:25 minutes.
